The Alaska Limited Power of Attorney Form makes it possible for an individual to designate a dependable person to perform a specific function in their name. For example, suppose the designating party needs somebody to sign a contract on their behalf because they cannot do so themselves, or it is just more convenient. In that case, they can take advantage of this document to grant an agent the power to do so. All the principal has to do is to provide the form with the following:
- Who they would like to operate as their agent.
- Which rights they would like to transfer to the attorney-in-fact.
- What circumstances will be surrounding the conveyance.
- The performance of endorsement under the oversight of a certified notary public.
