The Colorado Real Estate Power of Attorney explicitly grants another person the capability of selling, buying, managing, or refinancing a property in the name of the party distributing the powers. As some of the more generic POAs are less defined, this version is more clear-cut as to what the authorities will be surrounding the property in question. If this is of interest, conveying parties must execute the following within the form:
- Identify the Agent/Attorney-in-Fact
- Select the Desired Powers
- Insert Any Necessary Data
- Sign the Document in the Presence of a Notary Public
Following the completion of the document, the recipient of the powers will then be authorized to act on the principal’s behalf.
