The Idaho Revocation of Power of Attorney is the formal notice executed by the principal of an existing POA confirming the cancellation of the initial document’s terms. To properly carry out this document, the revoking party will have to register the names of the parties involved, their address, and the date of the original POA’s execution. After inserting all the needed details, it is advised that the executor sign the instrument within the vicinity of a notary public for acknowledgment purposes. Once the document has been finalized, copies of the form should be delivered to any and all parties of interest, i.e., the principal’s attorney-in-fact, financial institution, doctor, etc.
