The Idaho Motor Vehicle Power of Attorney is essential to those looking to have somebody else (an individual or business entity) accomplish a vehicle transaction in their name. This means that, upon the execution of the document, the agent receiving the authority will have the right to endorse, release, or transfer all registration and ownership documents applicable to the vehicle listed. Apart from the vehicle’s description, executors of this instrument should be prepared to supply the following within the form:
- Attorney-in-Fact’s Information (the individual’s/business’s name & address)
- Grantor’s Information (the individual’s/business’s name, driver’s license #/SSN/EIN, address, & phone number)
- Grantor’s Signature (to be performed under the observation of a notary public or ITD agent)
