The Hawaii Limited (Special) Power of Attorney sanctions the conveyance of a specific authority that is personally outlined by the principal themselves. Most people who supply powers to others to act on their behalf will accomplish this by executing a “durable” or “general” POA that offers more broad-ranging authorities. With this instrument, the conveyor can refine the authority so that it is limited to a more distinct task, e.g., signing a particular document, selling an item, carrying out a one-time transaction, etc.
