The Wyoming Minor Child Power of Attorney is a legal registry to extend the rights to care for a child to another person for a temporary period of time. The form is utilized in cases where a parent requires an alternate individual to take over management of the needs of the minor child due to the parent not being present or in an incapacitated or compromised state. The document can also create an alternative arrangement to grant rights only upon death or inability to care for the child due to health issues. Notation as to the bestowing of specific or broad rights is to be cited in the paperwork and the names of the parent, child, and the attorney-in-fact. There is a separate section of the form to indicate a chosen expiration date of the warranted rights.
