The Wyoming Revocation of Power of Attorney provides formal documentation of the effective cancellation of the power of attorney arrangement. The standard form must be filled with information stipulating the original document’s facts to nullify its contents. The registration of information must include the distinct title of the primary contract, the name(s) of the designated agent(s), and the initial signing date. Signatures provided to execute the revocation must be performed before an accepted official at the county clerk’s office in the administrating principal’s home county.

Signing Requirements – “Unless the power of attorney otherwise specifically provides, any power of attorney executed prior to January 1, 2018, may be revoked either in the same manner as a power of attorney executed on or after January 1, 2018, or by recording an instrument of revocation with a true copy of the power of attorney attached, in the office of the county clerk of the county in which the principal resides. Constructive notice of the revocation is given from and after the date of recording the instrument of revocation” (§ 3-5-103).
