The Wisconsin Motor Vehicle Power of Attorney qualifies a written statement enabling a person to receive authority to make decisions and endorse legal documents regarding a vehicle. The contract allows a vehicle owner to transfer designated rights to an alternate party to conduct necessary actions such as buying, selling, titling, and registering an automobile. The form can be used in situations where a vehicle’s proprietor may not be present to perform tasks or where assistance is sought for the assignment. Should the motor vehicle be held in possession by a company, an authorized official for the business entity must sign and enter the organization’s federal identification number.
