Statute – South Dakota Uniform Power of Attorney Act (§ 59-12-1 – § 59-12-43)

Definition – “Property,” anything that may be the subject of ownership, whether real or personal, legal or equitable, or any interest or right in the subject (§ 59-12-1(10)).

Signing Requirements – Acceptance of the form will require notarization by a state-licensed individual (§ 59-12-4).
