The Nevada Minor Child Power of Attorney qualifies a composed agreement to transfer an individual’s intrinsic parental rights concerning a child to a nominated adult for an interim period. The short-term arrangement allows the named attorney-in-fact to receive powers to make decisions in place of the parent regarding the minor. The document is provided to afford the ability to designate agency in situations where the parent may be absent. Nevada state law specifies that the issuance will expire either on the stipulated expiration date or automatically after six (6) months have elapsed from the effective date.
