The Maryland Revocation of Power of Attorney discontinues the terms & conditions of an active POA. During the course of an existing principal-agent relationship, there may come a time when the granting party no longer wants to proceed with the established arrangement. In order to terminate what was stipulated in the original document, it is important that it is done in writing so that there is proof of the cancellation. The form available on this page provides a statement expressing the revocation of the former document. All that it requires is the details of the POA being revoked, the identities of the principal & agent, and the signature of the withdrawing party (acknowledgment of witnesses and/or notary public advised).
