The Colorado Motor Vehicle Power of Attorney, Form DR 2175, is a document offered to the citizens of Colorado from the state’s Division of Motor Vehicles. It essentially allows a grantor to appoint another individual to act as their agent and carry out specified actions pertaining to an automobile. Some of the main powers that can be conveyed include:
- Registering a Vehicle
- Applying for Certificate of Title
- Transfer of Ownership (buying or selling)
- Recording & Transferring Liens
After entering the necessary details and selecting the powers, the principal should provide their signature as prompted.
