Pennsylvania Sublease Agreement Template

The Pennsylvania sublease agreement is executed when a tenant would like to rent their leased property to a third party. This third party renter is what is known as a “subtenant”. Before this action can be achieved, the primary lessee is obligated to receive authorization from the landlord of the premises. If approved, the tenant will discuss the terms with the new subtenant and record them into the sublease. The main terms that will need to be established include the start & expiration date of the tenancy, amount for the rental fees & security deposit, and the description of any prohibitions. Participants should then sign the document and collect a copy for their records (landlord must also receive a copy upon request).
