To apply, gather the following materials to present in person at your county sheriff’s office:
- A fully filled-out and signed Kansas Concealed Carry Application
- Certificate of completion of an accepted firearms instruction program
- An original fingerprint identification card for the applicant.
- A passport-type color photo of the applying individual
- A copy of the applicant’s driver’s license or identification card
- For those who are not U.S. citizens, additional resident documentation will need to be submitted.
- Compensation to cover all fees for the license in the form of a personal check, money order, or cashier’s check.
