Virginia Limited (Special) Power of Attorney distributes a finite number of powers from an individual to a designated agent. Whereas a typical power of attorney contract aims to deliver a range of expressed controls, a limited arrangement serves to pinpoint the select authorities to be doled out and the terms to the commitment. The principal assigning the transferred rights will have the opportunity to write in the desired allowances to speak and act on their behalf within the allocated spaces. Expiry of the agreement can be prescribed with a denoted termination date, or revocation can occur by simply producing a secondary revocation of power of attorney form to cancel. All signatures must be received in the presence of a notary public to verify the capacity, understanding, and proper endorsement.
