The Tennessee Real Estate Power of Attorney is a legal document that specifies an attorney-in-fact’s entitlement to a granted agency for one or multiple pieces of real estate. The contract can be used in situations where an owner is not available to conduct business or manage property or if it is preferred to nominate another to take on the task. The principal can specify the range of the received controls to cover the buying, selling, management, or refinancing of a property. Filing the agreement will require completion of the form with the information related to the principal and agent, along with the address of the subject property. Signing to initiate the arrangement must be conducted before a notary professional or two (2) designated witnesses.
