The Ohio Minor Child Power of Attorney is an advantageous document for parents who need to temporarily leave their child/children in the care of another individual. With that being said, the state reserves this document specifically for the grandparents of the child/children who will be cared for. To put this into effect, the legal guardian(s) should fill in the required details, sign it along with the grandparent, and then have it notarized by an official. Once this has been accomplished, the grandparent will then have the ability to authorize any necessary medical or educational actions.
