The Nevada Motor Vehicle Power of Attorney serves to allow the owner of a vehicle the opportunity to enable another person to represent them in associated tasks related to the automobile. The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles will accept the POA along with any associated application(s) to legally register, title, sell, or gift an identified vehicle on behalf of the principal party. State regulation additionally insists that the document be accompanied by a completed and signed Affidavit of Acknowledgement for a Power of Attorney (Form VP-249) to officially instate the granted rights.
