The North Dakota General (Financial) Power of Attorney is the basic paperwork designed to allocate established rights from an owning entity to an alternate agent. The general form grants a finite degree of controls as needed by a principal to allow another person to administer specified tasks on their behalf. Adjustments can be made to efficiently dictate which powers are to be granted to the attorney-in-fact at the discretion of the authorizing principal. Issuance of powers to sign and take action can be granted depending on the preference of the grantor concerning a declarant’s:
- Bank Accounts
- Personal Property
- Real Estate
- Taxes
- Insurance Policies
- Legal Affairs
The endowment can be carried out for a restricted or broader agency, contingent on how the form is completed. Notarization of the agreement is highly recommended to validate the arrangement for future reference and corroboration.
