Statute – North Carolina General Statutes – Chapter 32C – Uniform Power of Attorney Act (§ 32C-1-101 – 32C-4-403) and North Carolina General Statutes – Chapter 32A – Article 4 – Consent to Health Care for Minor. (§ 32A-28 – 32A-34)
Definitions – “Minor or Minor Child” means an individual who has not attained the age of 18 years and who has not been emancipated (§ 32A-29(6)).
Signing Requirements – Notarization of the event of execution must be overseen by a notary official and endorsed accordingly.
