Statute – Title 72, Chapter 31, Part 3: Montana Uniform Power of Attorney Act
Definition – “Power of attorney” means a writing or other record that grants authority to an agent to act in the place of the principal, whether or not the term power of attorney is used (§ 72-31-302(7)).
Signing Requirements – A notary official must substantiate the form’s execution by supplying their signature in addition to the signatures of the vehicle owner (§ 72-31-305).
