The Mississippi Motor Vehicle Power of Attorney (Form 78-003) can help people within the state authorize another individual to conduct transactions related to a car or truck on their behalf. So if one party needs someone else to register, title, license, or transfer ownership of their automobile, they can simply execute a copy of this form to give that party the legal right to sign in their name. This can be accomplished by entering the following information into the form; the names & addresses of both parties, a description of the vehicle, and the current odometer reading. Afterwhich, the grantor must sign the instrument and receive the acknowledgment of a notary public.
