The Missouri Minor Child Power of Attorney is a parental delegation form used to secure the temporary care of someone under the age of eighteen (18) years. Sometimes, a parent or legal guardian may need to be away from their child, whether it’s because they are a member of the military, going on a trip, or just have a busy schedule. It is important for them to make sure that whoever is looking after the child has all the same capabilities as they would in order to tend to the minor’s medical, dental, and educational needs. This form provides such access and merely requires; a description of the parties involved, specifics pertaining to the delegation, and expiration date. Once the information has been inserted, both parties will have to sign the document in the presence of a notary public to validate the form.
