The Louisiana Limited (Special) Power of Attorney lays out the terms of an arrangement where one party delivers personal powers to another party for the sake of accomplishing tasks in the principal’s name. With this particular version of the POA document, users can detail the exact authority that they would like to convey by supplying the form with a description of each power. After establishing what powers the agent will have access to, the principal must identify themselves and their attorney-in-fact, choose a term that best suits their needs, and endorse the form accordingly (executors of this instrument are advised to sign in the presence of two (2) witnesses or a notary public).
