The Louisiana General (Financial) Power of Attorney is a common document carried out by those who wish to delegate financial powers to another person. A distinct feature of this POA is that it automatically cancels upon the principal’s incapacity, unlike its durable counterpart that remains in effect even if the granting party loses their ability to make sound decisions. To properly utilize this instrument, users will have to input the required information, select which authorities to bestow to their agent, and sign the form within the indicated area.
