The Kentucky Limited (Special) Power of Attorney is a written instrument that restricts the level of power granted by giving the principal the capability of describing their own custom authority. For instance, if an individual needs someone else to deposit a check on their behalf, they can record this action and its frequency within the document to grant the agent the right to perform this task, as opposed to authorizing all transactions related to their banking. Once the power(s) have been defined, the executor must nominate their attorney-in-fact, initial the desired term, and sign the form in the presence of an individual possessing the ability to notarize the POA.
