The Iowa Limited (Special) Power of Attorney can be adjusted to the needs of the executor. Other forms of the POA will present you with a group of broad powers that are on the more generic side of things. Within the limited/special version of the document, the principal has the capacity to transcribe the precise actions that they want to be carried out in their name. Users can effectuate this by confirming the identities of both parties, detailing the authority that is to be bestowed, and endorsing the form as instructed by the law.

Definition – “Power of attorney” means a writing that grants authority to an agent to act in the place of the principal, whether or not the term “power of attorney” is used (§ 633B.102(9)).
