The Nebraska DMV bill of sale form is a commonly utilized instrument when selling or buying a motor vehicle. It essentially provides proof that a transaction between two parties occurred, therefore, working as a receipt for the sale. Names of the seller and buyer, vehicle price, and a vehicle description are just some of the important details that are listed on the form. There is also a section for a notary public to sign off approving the validity of the document. The Nebraska DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) recommends that all participants in the private sale of a motor vehicle implement this agreement.
