The Texas Revocation of Power of Attorney is employed when someone wants to annul the rights given in a formerly accomplished POA document. A principal who has granted powers to another individual may implement this written cancellation at any time, typically after the delegated task has been completed. To effectuate the instrument, the repealing party will have to list the names of every individual involved (principal, agent, successor agent), provide the county & date in which the revocation is being carried out, and sign their name on the indicated line. Afterwhich, copies of the form should be furnished to every person who is connected to the previous arrangement, most importantly the attorney-in-fact(s).
