The New Hampshire roommate (room rental) agreement allows co-tenants to create a system for how a household will operate. When a shared living arrangement is formulated, it is imperative that the individuals taking part in the residence establish the various elements associated with this type of occupancy. This means the roommates should go over the division of expenses (rent, damage deposit, utilities, etc.), duration of each individual’s term, and any rules/responsibilities associated with the home (choirs, noise level, guests, etc.). If the parties can come to an understanding of how the relationship will be carried out, they can complete and sign a copy of this form for each roommate.
