Statute – Powers of Attorney (14 V.S.A. § 3501 – 14 V.S.A. § 3516) and Guardianship (14 V.S.A. § 2601 – 14 V.S.A. § 3098)
Definition – “Child” means an individual who is under 18 years of age and who is the subject of a petition for guardianship filed pursuant to section 2623 of this title (14 V.S.A. § 2622(1)).
Signing Requirements – Confirmation of finalization by the form’s endorsement must be witnessed by a professional notary.
