West Virginia Roommate Agreement Form

The West Virginia roommate agreement permits residents of a dwelling to record the arrangement established between them and a new housemate. Before this can be achieved, it is important that you receive permission from the authority of the property in order to add another roommate to the living situation. The form covers all the major components of the new individual’s living arrangement, such as the portion of the rent that they are responsible to pay each month, percentage of the utility costs required, and what they will have to initially spend for the security deposit. After determining all the ins and outs of the new tenancy, it is imperative that the principal roommate/landlord, new roommate, and any other existing roommates sign off on the document to formally conclude the contract.
