The Tennessee roommate agreement is the organized record of an arrangement made between individuals who plan on sharing a residence. When adding a new housemate to a living situation, it is important that the existing roommates present this document to register how much the individual will owe each month, what portion of the utilities they are responsible for, and what amount they are required to pay for the security deposit. Following the establishment of the terms, the landlord/principal and all of the roommates are obligated to sign the document within the necessary areas of the form. If a conflict amongst the tenants should arise, this contract can be presented as proof of a prior agreement.
