State Laws

Minimum Termination: The landlord or tenant may terminate a month-to-month lease by providing at least 30 days’ written notice (NRS 40.251).

Increasing Rent: Nevada has no statewide or local caps on rent increases. Landlords must provide at least 60 days’ written notice before a rent increase can legally go into effect (NRS 118A.300).
