State Laws

Minimum Termination: The landlord or tenant may terminate a month-to-month lease with at least 30 days’ written notice before the periodic rental date specified in the notice (§ 383.695(2)).

Increasing Rent: Kentucky has no statewide or local rent caps (§ 65.875). Landlords must provide written notice at least 30 days before the rent increase takes effect on a periodic rental date (§ 383.695(2)).
