State Laws

Minimum Termination: The landlord or tenant must provide written notice of at least 30 days prior to terminating the lease (AS 34.03.290(b)).

Increasing Rent: There is no statewide cap on rent increases. To increase the rent, the landlord must provide 30 days’ notice.
